If you’ve been reading my Instagram posts or emails for a while, you’ll know that PROTEIN is one of those things people are really missing the mark on.
You see, if the goal is fat loss then protein is an absolute necessity. Protein is what will help build lean muscle and that muscle is what’s going to jack up your metabolism. BUT getting in enough protein is also way harder than carbs because, well because carbs are super yummy and fun to eat!
Here’s a list of protein sources that will help you hit the required mark:
- Chicken salad
- Whole eggs
- Lean Eye round steak
- Ground turkey
- Ground beef
- Tuna Steak
- Mahi Mahi
- Cottage Cheese
- Greek Yogurt
- Protein Powder – I personally like Jay Robb’s. You can find it on Amazon.
There’s really no bad time to eat protein. If you’re hungry before bed try to eat one of the options above instead of something heavy on carbs.
