Youve probably heard the term “Superfood” somewhere, but what does it actually mean? Superfoods are whole foods that are packed with an abundance of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals…and have the power to improve your levels of energy, performance, and physical and mental health.
These 5 foods have earned the title of “Superfood” for their extremely high content of disease fighting and body optimizing nutrition.
And all of these foods are very versatile, and there’s many ways to incorporate these foods into your diet.
1. Raw Cacao Powder
We’ve all likely heard that chocolate can be good for us. But the reason for that, is the cacao that is used to make the chocolate. Subtract all the artificial ingredients and processed sugars, and you’ll be left with one of the most antioxidant rich superfoods on the planet…Cacao.

3. Flax Seeds

The last on the list of superfoods to supercharge your health, is a favorite amongst many more so for its delicious taste, but it is also one of the healthiest fruits you can eat.
Avocados are full of fats that are good for heart health, hormonal balance, and brain function. It is also high in folate, vitamin c and calcium, and also contains more potassium than a banana, which makes this green and deliscious fruit such a powerful superfood.
We all likely have gotten very creative with avocado and have learned many ways to use it, but here are some of my favorite.
